Compatibility: This part fits a specific model range of Electrolux front loader washing machines, generally badged as AutoDose, SensorWash or UltimateCare 700. Suits several model variations beginning with EWF1041, EWF1042, EWF9042 and EWF9043.
Function: This round rubber gasket/seal is designed for specific Electrolux front load washing machines to achieve a watertight barrier between the outer tub and the front door to prevent leaks during the wash cycle.
Design: Features a specialised engineering design for proper water retention and structural alignment. It is designed to withstand high spin speeds (up to 1400 RPM) and manage heavy water flow. Key features include deep flexible accordion folds, lower drain channels and recirculation water jet port holes (at the top and sides).
Dimensions: Outer diameter approx. 410mm, seal depth approx. 100mm.
Material: High-quality synthetic EPDM rubber (grey), described as a 3XL WM Jet Light bellow, providing abrasion resistance, grease resistance, thermal tolerance and noise reduction.

When does this part need to be replaced? After conducting a thorough visual inspection, replace if you notice tears, rips, cracks, brittleness, warping, or persistent mould causing a bad-smelling odour which may impact clothes cleanliness and lead to preventable washing machine damage.

Please note: Does not include replacement gasket/seal front or back spring clamps. These are usually reusable from the existing gasket/seal unless rusty. If necessary, you can order a new set of front and rear spring clamps from Statewide Appliance Spares.
